Compliance

The role of compliance at WorkCover WA is to identify suspected breaches of statutory obligations, to investigate and pursue appropriate enforcement action where required.

Regulation

The role of regulation at WorkCover WA is to ensure licenced and approved service providers operate effectively in the workers compensation scheme in Western Australia, and to establish and monitor performance standards for all service providers.

We regulate service providers by setting clear expectations in specialised Principles and Standards. These can be found under Service Provider Resources.

Communication

The role of communication and education at WorkCover WA is to provide education, advice and assistance to all stakeholders to increase engagement and optimise scheme performance.
