2023/24 Recommended Premium Rates

WorkCover WA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Chris White, released a media statement announcing the 2023/24 recommended premium rates for compulsory workers’ compensation insurance in Western Australia.

The average recommended premium rate for 2023/24 is set at 1.727 per cent of total wages (down from the previous year’s 1.822 per cent).

The recommended premium rates were published today in a Special Government Gazette and will come into effect from 4pm on 30 June 2023.
