Commencement Date Proclaimed

I am pleased to announce the commencement date of 1 July 2024 for the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 has been proclaimed.

The key instrument supporting the new Act, the Workers Compensation and Injury Managment Regulations 2024, has been enacted by the Governor and is now available on the Western Australian Legislation website. You can access the Regulations here.

Key administrative instruments supporting the Act will be published on our website next week.
