Customer Service Update

With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, WorkCover WA is pleased to announce the resumption of face-to-face engagement with external stakeholders.

This includes accepting stakeholders at its premises, 2 Bedbrook Place Shenton Park, and resuming compliance and education visits.

Persons attending the Shenton Park office are required to ‘self-serve’ check in at reception and maintain social distancing in the areas of the lobby, waiting/break-out areas and the conference room.

Conciliation and Arbitration Services Update

Conciliation and Arbitration Services (CAS) aim to resume in-person hearings from 9 May 2022 for:

  • Conciliation conferences
  • Pre-Arbitration conferences
  • Arbitration final hearings.

Unless otherwise directed by the conduct Arbitrator, all directions and interlocutory hearings will remain telephone hearings. Conciliation Officers and Arbitrators may also approve parties attending remotely, or the conduct of remote proceedings where necessary on a case-by-case basis.

Parties involved with changes to the format of their conferences will be advised accordingly.

Anyone feeling unwell or exhibiting cold and flu symptoms is asked to contact CAS to make alternative arrangements.

Further information about hearings before the Conciliation and Arbitration Services will be provided should the situation change.
