Insurance Brokers’ Breakfast Seminar 2017

On 8 December 2017, nearly 200 stakeholders attended WorkCover WA’s Insurance Brokers’ Breakfast Seminar at Crown Perth.

Guests had the opportunity to hear from WorkCover WA A/Chief Executive Officer, Chris White, and General Manager Regulatory Services, Stephen Psaila-Savona, about the latest scheme trends and developments, and the activities undertaken by the Agency in 2017.

National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) WA Division Chairman, Ross Bethell, introduced NIBA’s new workers’ compensation training, and guests were also treated to a keynote speech from social researcher and generational expert, Claire Madden (pictured right) about the trends redefining the future of work.

The seminar also provided for the launch of WorkCover WA’s latest educational video ‘Workers’ compensation insurance: a guide for insurance brokers,’ which explains how insurance brokers can help employers understand and meet their workers’ compensation obligations. The video is now available online through the Quick Access panel on the WorkCover WA homepage, or on the Educational Videos page.

WorkCover WA would like to thank all speakers and attendees for their contributions in making the 2017 Insurance Brokers’ Breakfast Seminar a success.
