New edition of the WorkCover WA Guidelines for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment

WorkCover WA has issued the WorkCover WA Guidelines for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, fourth edition (the Guidelines) with an operational date of 1 December 2016.

The Guidelines are used by Approved Medical Specialists (AMS) when performing an evaluation of permanent impairment under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981.

Information sessions

WorkCover WA is conducting information sessions in the new Guidelines on the following dates:

Priority registrations are currently open to AMS.

Registrations for non-AMS stakeholders will be open from 1 November 2016. Details about how to register will be available on the WorkCover WA website on 1 November 2016.
