New Online Conciliation Services

WorkCover WA’s Conciliation and Arbitration Services (CAS) provide dispute resolution services to parties involved in a workers’ compensation dispute.

Each year, more than 2000 applications for conciliation are filed by post, over the counter, email or fax.

As part of the State Government’s commitment to ‘A Digital WA’ and WorkCover WA’s Digital First initiative, Conciliation Services will move to an online platform in mid-2019 for the most common administrative and registry services. Arbitration related administrative services are scheduled to move online from mid-2020.

It is expected the new online facility will provide a modern and user-friendly platform for stakeholders to access Conciliation Services. Parties to a dispute will be able to file applications and associated documents online as well as being able to instantly update and access case information.WorkCover WA is working with CAS stakeholders to ensure the new system meets the needs of parties involved in the conciliation process.

If you would like to nominate someone to be a part of a focus group to test the new system, please email Lauren Harvey at lauren.harvey@workcover.wa.gov.au.

A seminar will also be held in March 2019 to inform CAS stakeholders about details of the online services.
