Return to Work Conference 2017

On 3 and 4 May 2017, 350 workers’ compensation and injury management professionals will gather at Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth to discuss return to work challenges, encourage best practice, and promote positive pathways for returning injured workers to work.

You are encouraged to take advantage of this fantastic professional development opportunity. Injury management professionals can acquire CPD points through their own self-directed programs. NIBA members can apply for 10.5 CPD points through NIBA, and ANZIIF members can apply for 12 CIP points through ANZIIF.

Alongside the dynamic keynote speakers, such as Dr Norman Swan, host of ABC’s The Health Report, WorkCover WA’s Return to Work Conference 2017 will showcase presentations from leading thinkers and experts in injury management and return to work including:

  • Ms Dorothy Frost, Group Manager for the Work Health Group, who will discuss the right mindset for returning to work
  • Dr Jenny Brockis, Medical Practitioner, International Speaker and Author, who will discuss the importance of brain fitness in returning to work
  • Mr Robert Aurbach, Principal Consultant at Uncommon Approach, who will discuss the importance of resilience during rehabilitation and return to work
  • Dr Peter Connaughton, President of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, who will discuss the health benefits of work
