Return to Work Conference a success

On 3 and 4 May 2017, Western Australia’s workers’ compensation and injury management community gathered to promote positive pathways in returning injured workers to work.

The event was a resounding success, with nearly 400 delegates attending over two days to view 21 exhibitions and listen to 23 presentations by Australia’s leading minds and experts in returning to work.

A networking function was held on the evening of Wednesday 3 May and provided delegates, speakers and exhibitors with the opportunity to interact and discuss the day’s sessions.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and indicates the presentations and exhibitions, as well as the networking opportunities, were of benefit to everyone who attended.

WorkCover WA would like to thank all the speakers, exhibitors and delegates for their contributions in making the Return to Work Conference 2017 an enjoyable and informative event for everyone.

The Conference also provided a platform for the launch of WorkCover WA’s new injury management resources, including four short videos. These aim to provide information about claims and return to work processes, and are available under the Forms, publications and videos section of the WorkCover WA website. More videos are scheduled to be released later this year.
