Welcome to Workers’ Compensation: Insurer & Self-Insurer Essentials Seminar

[IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE – NOW ONLINE] Welcome to Workers’ Compensation: Insurer and Self-Insurer Essentials Online Seminar

At WorkCover WA, we are committed to ensuring both staff and visitors remain safe in 2022.

Current public health advice has seen a change to the definition of close contact and new isolation protocols. With a growing list of exposure sites, and to support a reduction in the potential transmission of COVID-19 in both our workplace and our community, WorkCover WA have made the decision to host this event online.

This free ONLINE educational seminar will be held on 2 March, and targets those working for an approved insurer or self-insurer. Developed for staff new to the industry or those seeking to refresh their knowledge, attendees will gain a better understanding of their role within the workers’ compensation and injury management scheme.

Topics include:

  • The role of WorkCover WA and an overview of the scheme.
  • Insurer and self-insurer obligations.
  • WorkCover WA’s expectations and the Principles and Standards.
  • WorkCover WA resources.
