Workplace Rehabilitation Providers Principles and Standards of Practice – Reference Group Meeting 1

Following a consultative process and a call for expressions of interest, WorkCover WA is pleased to announce the reference group members overseeing the development of the Workplace Rehabilitation Providers Principles and Standards of Practice. The members are:

• Mr Andrew Rowcroft, representative of the Australian Rehabilitation Provider Association (ARPA)
• Ms Loan Tang, representative of the Australian Rehabilitation Provider Association (ARPA)
• Ms Stephanie Hammersley, non-ARPA representative of Workplace Rehabilitation Providers
• Ms Christina Italiano, representative of the Insurance Council of Australia (WA)
• Ms Simone Guise, representative of the Insurance Council of Australia (WA)
• Mr Luke Worthington, representative of the Self-insurer Association
• Dr June Sim, Occupational Physician
• Mr Rhys Vallance, representative of Unions WA (worker representative)
• Ms Rosemary Gil, representative of the National Insurance Brokers Association (employer representative)
• Ms Rebecca Harris, WorkCover WA

The reference group had their first meeting on 9 September 2020 where they analysed feedback from two perception surveys and agreed on the process for the development of the Principles and Standards.
